Verger · Last updated: 29 April 2026

Verger is a French-language learning app that turns photos you choose into short conversations. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We try to keep this short and direct.

What we collect

What we do not collect

Who else sees your data

How long we keep things

Your data stays in your account until you delete it. You can delete a single conversation or vocabulary entry from inside the app. You can delete your entire account from Profile → Delete account; this immediately and permanently removes every conversation, vocabulary word, photo reference, and account record tied to you. There is no grace period and no recovery.

Children

Verger is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use Verger. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you have the right to know what data we hold about you, to correct it, and to delete it. The Delete account button does the deletion automatically. For anything else, email us (below) and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data in transit is sent over HTTPS. Data at rest in Supabase is encrypted on disk and scoped per user via row-level security so other users cannot see your conversations. No system is perfectly secure; if you find a vulnerability, please report it to the email below.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where required, surface a notice in the app.
